ACTIVITIES
Aurora Viewing
The Northern Lights are central to Alaska winter vacations. Viewing them in Denali is extra special. The aurora is visible from the Lodge. There is a Solo stove available for outdoor gatherings under the Northern Lights. The University of Alaska, Fairbanks Geophysical Institute issues a 3 day aurora forecast. The link is included below.

Skiing
There is no need to drive to a skiing destination, just ski down the driveway and connect to the many trails used by the Iditarod sled dog mushing champion, Jeff King. For those wishing to ski in Denali National Park, it is a short distance away. Snow conditions vary, so be prepared for heavy or light snowfalls and covering.

Snowmobiling
Bring your own sled or rent one from Delta Power Sports in Fairbanks. Snowmachine (snowmobile) out the front door or in Cantwell. If you plan to ride from the lodge, be sure to obtain a land use permit from Ahtna (https://www.ahtna.com/lands/land-permits/).
